Booking a service with the Geneva Shuttle company implies that all customers adhere to and accept without reservation the general conditions of sale set out below.

Geneva Shuttle reserves the right at any time to make changes or provide updates according to the evolution of the regulations in force.

2°) Booking

The reservation is made via the website. Once confirmed and paid the customer will receive a reservation confirmation with all the details of the reservation. The customer should verify all data to ensure the accuracy of the information provided.

At your request, an invoice can be prepared and sent to you (by email only).

No delay is necessary to make a reservation, however it is advisable to do so as early as possible in order to guarantee a place on our shuttles.

The personal information provided when booking and during correspondence is intended exclusively to process the transport request. As required by the regulations in force in France, customers have the right to access and rectify this information; simply write us an email or send us a letter by post to head office address mentioned above.

When booking, a pick-up time is scheduled. However, Geneva Shuttle reserves the right to anticipate or delay the pick-up time; in this case the customer will be informed as quickly as possible and will not be able to refuse under any circumstances (please note that for a shuttle to an airport or train station the time necessary for baggage check-in will be respected).

If the customer wishes to change their schedule, we will do our best to respond favorably, but nothing will be guaranteed and this does not constitute a valid reason for cancellation since the original contract will have been accepted.

Geneva Shuttle will always do its best to ensure that vehicles arrive on time for scheduled appointments and drop off customers at their destination at the scheduled time. However, Geneva Shuttle will not be held liable in the event of delay due to external facts beyond its will or control, such as:

  • Road accidents causing delays

  • Road accidents blocking all traffic

  • Exceptional weather conditions

  • Law enforcement checks

  • Vandalism and terrorism

  • Unexpected traffic jams

  • Strikes and/or demonstrations blocking the road

  • Problems caused by other passengers

  • Any fact that could affect the safety of passengers.

3°) Vehicle and Luggage

For minibuses, there is no baggage limit until an additional vehicle is required. For sedans, one bag per person maximum.

The vehicles are fully insured for the transport of passengers, as required by French law. However, even if we always handle baggage with the greatest care, passengers' belongings are transported under their responsibility. Geneva Shuttle cannot, under any circumstances, be held responsible for loss or damage. Likewise, if you forget one of your bags, the return costs will be your responsibility.

Tous nos véhicules sont non fumeurs et climatisés.

We can provide free baby seats and booster seats for children so that they can travel in complete comfort and safety. Please indicate this when booking. Wearing a seat belt is compulsory for all passengers without exception. Drivers will not leave the road until all passengers are properly belted.

Geneva Shuttle reserves the right, and grants it to its drivers, to refuse access to the vehicle to any person visibly under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and whose behavior could be considered a threat to the other passengers and the driver. Passengers are not permitted to consume alcoholic beverages or drugs in vehicles.

4°) Prices

Our prices are freely available for consultation on our website.

The prices indicated are inclusive of tax and are all-inclusive (no supplement will be requested from you later unless the initial itinerary is modified, additional person not declared at the time of booking, etc.)

Animals are accepted in our shuttles (at no extra cost) on the condition that they have been declared in advance when booking and that they travel in suitable crates and under the sole supervision and responsibility of their master.

Payment is made at the time of booking or in cash to the driver.

Payments are non-refundable, unless Geneva Shuttle must, for reasons beyond its control, cancel the reservation or agrees to cancel it and issues a refund.

The different payment methods available to you are as follows:

  • credit card upon reservation

  • cash to driver

When a person books for two or more people, they commit on behalf of the other people and therefore we consider that all members of the group also accept the Geneva Shuttle conditions of sale.

5°) Cancellation and modification

The addresses appearing on the confirmation are those of the place of destination and the meeting place for the transfer. If the customer wishes to modify them or change any detail, the request must be sent by email to Geneva Shuttle at least three days before the transfer. You will not be charged for changes to a reservation unless the point of departure or arrival changes.

A reservation can be canceled by email (no cancellation possible on Sundays and public holidays).

If, for any reason, the customer wishes to cancel their transfer, the following fees will be retained (if paying in cash, the card given as guarantee will be debited)

  • More than 8 working days (Sundays and public holidays do not count) before the transfer date: 50% of the total amount

  • Below: No refund

Geneva Shuttle cannot be held liable in the event that the reserved service has to be cancelled, delayed or modified due to the occurrence of one or other of these events considered as force majeure:

  • dangerous weather conditions on the road (snow, ice, storm, floods, etc.)

  • particular climatic conditions including snow and fog which would prevent a plane from landing at the planned airport

  • disrupted road traffic (traffic jam, accident, demonstration, etc.)

  • for airports and train stations: bomb threat preventing customer pick-up

  • strike including air traffic controllers

In these cases, no refund or postponement would be possible (in the event of payment planned in cash, your card given as guarantee will be debited). You will have to pay for a shuttle again if your trip is postponed.

In the event of a delay, we will do our best to transport you or to find an alternative solution (in particular the possibility of taking the next shuttle) but we will not be responsible for any additional waiting time that may be inflicted on you.

For reasons beyond our control, we may cancel a transfer already booked (if you had prepaid you will be fully refunded).

6°) Disputes

In the event of a dispute, please send us an email to the following address contact@genevashuttle.com, we will respond as quickly as possible.
